Why would you want to speak to Unity? Well – apart from being an award winning Insolvency Practice, the three partners have around 80 years’ experience between them in helping clients in financial difficulty. They’ve also experienced some of the issues you might be facing. They were all previously senior employees of a large, national PLC, managing their personal insolvency unit. In 2012, the PLC decided to close the division, and the whole team – including the Unity partners, were made redundant. The partners then re-employed the “pick of the crop” of the employees that the PLC made redundant also. We all therefore know how traumatic it can be to have an unexpected problem land at your door step, and we believe that our attitude to our clients reflects that experience.
Our senior team and the work we do are authorised, and most importantly monitored by a whole host of trade and professional bodies and regulators.
Unity Corporation LLP are full members of industry trade body, the DRF. The DRF is the trade, training and professional standards body for fee-charging debt resolution providers – click here to download their consumer information leaflet and here to see their code and standards document.
Our licensed Insolvency Practitioners are professionally qualified, and members of a variety of professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association. And lastly, one of our partners, Gill Wrigley, actually sits on the committee of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association. We’re a Limited Liability Partnership, registered at Companies House OC378725 and registered with the Data Protection Commissioner Z3388154.
