Meet the partners…..

Gill Wrigley

Gill is our Managing Partner and is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and Chartered Accountant, having started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has over 20 years’ experience in the profession, was formerly divisional MD of RSM Tenon PLC’s IVA and Debt Management team, and has responsibility at Unity for client operations and compliance. She sits on the Board of the Membership and Authorisation Committee of the Personal Insolvency Committee of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association.

Matthew Bowker

Matthew is Unity’s Senior Partner, with 33 years in the insolvency and advisory profession and over 30 as a qualified Insolvency Practitioner. His first 15 years were spent with three of the country’s largest accountancy firms, Deloitte, Ernst & Young and BDO before starting his own business in the mid 90s. He expanded that business to several offices with 125 staff before it was acquired by RSM Tenon PLC in 2007.  Until 2012 Matthew had a number of senior roles within RSM Tenon, culminating in Group Operating Director for the Recovery & Restructuring division which had income of £50m and 500 staff.

David Hooton

David is Client Services Partner at Unity, having been in the insolvency and recovery profession for over 20 years. He has held a number of senior roles over that time with national accountancy and insolvency firms, including Haines Watts, Debt Free Direct and RSM Tenon PLC. David has extensive contacts within the debt advisory profession, and has responsibility for systems, client protocols and professional intermediaries.
